What Is Microneedling?

Microneedling , also called Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), involves using a tool called a dermapen with tiny needles located at the end of the pen that make little holes or pricks in the top layers of the skin. This procedure often employs Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) by obtaining growth factors from a blood sample drawn from your body. During the microneedling treatment, the needles penetrate below the skin surface, which creates invisible microchannels. This process stimulates the production of new collagen in the skin, which creates a revitalized skin by reducing fine lines and wrinkles and improving skin texture and tone.
