Cutera Coolglide uses laser technology to slowly remove layer by layer of skin in a very meticulous manner. As a result, no bleeding occurs as only the exact amount of old skin tissue is taken off. In doing so, this allows new skin to develop from the deeper skin cells. The new skin layer has more collagen which smoothes and softens wrinkles across the treated areas. What Can I Expect From My Cutera Coolglide Laser Treatment?
- You’ll be given an initial consultation and evaluation to see if Cutera Coolglide is the right treatment to meet your goals.
- We will design an individualized treatment plan that is best for you based on the consultation.
- Cutera Coolglide treatments can vary depending on whether it’s for unwanted body hair or for removing spider veins. For example, it can take 5 minutes if removing hair on the upper lip region and 15 minutes in the underarm region.
- Treatment is virtually harmless. There is a light pinching sensation. You can request a topical anaesthetic to be used on sensitive areas.
- You will receive your Cutera Coolglide treatments either by Dr. Lantry or one of our registered nurses.
- Redness and swelling will occur on the treated area for a few hours. You’ll receive recovery instructions by either Dr. Lantry or the registered nurse.
- You don’t need to take any time off work.
- It is recommended that you have 4 – 8 treatments with 5 – 12 weeks apart between treatments.
- Results appear cumulatively over time as more treatments are done.
- You’ll have a follow up session to assess your results and see if any touch-up is necessary.
